The Good Salon Guide professionally assess Salons Nationally against objective criteria and rates them accordingly. If a salon meets a set of minimum standards it is given a registered status and are then rated 3,4 or 5 stars. The Group, with Salons based in Salisbury, Wilton and Parkwood Health Club have for some time been an accredited Good Salon Guide 5 Star Salon including being accredited 5 Stars for its colouring services, its training and beauty services.

Finally, we can say... WE ARE OPEN! It has been a VERY long 15 weeks without you and we’ve missed you so SO much! Having reopened all three salons over the weekend (the first time in 30 years we’ve opened on a Sunday) it’s truly great to be back!
Our amazing team are delighted to be in the salons again after such a long break and they are thrilled to once again, be back doing what they love and doing what they do best, looking after you and looking after your hair.
It goes without saying that your safety and that of our team is of paramount importance to us, so rest assured that no stone has been left unturned and during lockdown we have taken the time and every precaution necessary, to create as safe an environment as we possibly can.
Things are obviously going to look and feel a little different in our salons for some time (scroll down to see how we are keeping you safe), and just as everything is new for us and we are learning a new way of doing things, we are equally aware that it's all new for you too.
We thank you for your understanding, we thank you for your patience and most of all we thank you for playing your part too. It’s really important that you follow the procedures we have put in place and we appreciate your help to enable us to maintain a safe and secure space in which we can work and look after all our much-loved guests.

In our 30 years of trading we have become very familiar with a continuous cycle of economic challenges that threaten the normal rhythm of business. We have in this time seen several recessions, heightened fears of terrorism and most recently Brexit shenanigans ... all of which have given us different challenges in our business and within the City of Salisbury.
We can honestly say the speed and depth of this latest global Covid-19 virus is like nothing else we have ever experienced. And hope never do again.
Across our group, the health and wellbeing of our guests and our team is our top priority and I want to reassure you of our approach.

We are closely monitoring the daily changing Government guidance and following their instructions accordingly. Whilst there are no reported cases of the virus amongst either our guests or staff at present, we would like to reassure you we are working tirelessly to ensure we take all necessary and practical steps so you can safely and confidently continue to enjoy your JASHAIRGroup appointmentWE all have a role to play to ensure we can stay healthy, the cleanliness of the salon is something we always take pride in. We are, however giving extra attention to those frequently touched areas, such as door handles and counter surfaces. Adding hand sanitiser dispensers.

If you're feeling unwell with a high temperature 38.7 plus degrees a continuous cough or with any of the following symptoms currently advised by the Government, then please do not enter the salon as we have a care of duty to our team and to other guests, in the salons.
Please wash your hands throughly and regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds if you can't use soap and water then please do use hand sanitiser gel.Catch all sneeze and coughs in a tissue and then dispose of it in a bin. If you do not have a tissue to hand, it's advisable to cough or sneeze into your elbow. Always wash your hands afterwards or use a sanitiser. Team JASHAIRGroup, are also practicing all the above and are kept regularly updated too.
This is not an easy time for anyone at the moment, it is a dynamic situation and will continue to evolve. But for now, it is very much business as usual for us and we hope you come and support us.

From Monday 2nd March to 12noon on Friday 6th March, we’re treating JAS Salisbury, to a fabulous new look and it is therefore closed for a refurb! The feel will be quite different to what we have now; one we are very excited to show you! We open again on Friday 6th March 12.00-8.00pm and normal trading days from Saturday 7th March.

Here are our top tips for fighting frizz on those long hot summer days and nights.
PROTECTION! PROTECTION! PROTECTION!
Protecting your hair from the sun is a super important step in your daily routine, especially whilst on holiday. Most guests are often conscious of protecting their scalp; but, the hair is often forgotten. The sun exposure and salt water can cause damage and leave hair looking dry, particularly if coloured. Using a product like sun care protective hair veil, which is so easy to just spritz all over the hair, will help to protect against UVA/UVB rays.
NOURISH! NOURISH! NOURISH!
We always encourage our guests to treat their hair with some extra nourishment throughout the summer to keep it looking healthy, as well as maintaining the vibrancy of colour-treated hair. Our absolute favourite for instant, visible repair, is damage remedy™ intensive restructuring treatment, which feeds the hair with amazing quinoa protein – pop it on after a day in the sun and let your hair benefit from some summer loving!
SHAMPOO - LESS IS MORE
When it comes to cleansing hair on holiday we recommend avoiding shampooing too often during humidity as this can cause the scalp to dry out in the sun and become flaky. Use sun care hair and body cleanser to gently remove chlorine, salt and product residue.

They did it !
After 18 months of training and fundraising, and having camped in freezing conditions, climbed the Incan steps to over 4,000m and walked for up to 10 hours a day before reaching their goal - the lost city of Machu Picchu in Peru - Wilton Salon Manager Karin and JASHAIR owner Jayne are safely back in blighty having helped to collectively raise over a whopping £101,000 for the Stars Appeal! Wow!!

Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic sights in South America, and the culmination of the magnificent Inca Trail trek through the Peruvian Andes. The trek is breathtakingly beautiful and will take the girls through valleys and high passes, scattered with fascinating Inca ruins.

Trekkers raise more than £64k for Stars Appeal
Jayne Prigent, owner of JASHAIR, joined SpireFM presenter Martin Starke, and 19 other Grand Canyon Trekkers, to present a fundraising cheque to the Stars Appeal for more than £64k. Most of the money raised is going to the Breast Cancer Unit Fund.
